Rappelling Experience in Qumran National Park
Come challenge yourself, conquer peaks and create victories on a unique rappelling experience in Nahal Qumran, set against the backdrop of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. Starting with a climb to the mountaintop, participants take on a series of six waterfalls, 8 m, 45 m, 40 m, 5 m, 5 m and 30 m high. Along the way the trail reveals not only the splendor of nature but also significant historical stories: here you can see the caves where the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls were found, the ritual baths of the period, and remains that testify to the rich life in the desert at that time. We stand on the rift escarpment, and across the Jordan River we can see the majestic Mountains of Moab. This tour combines the physical challenge and thrill of rappelling with a historical and archaeological experience that feels like a journey through time.

Who is the trip suitable for?
This is an excellent trip for beginners, with the walking section at a moderate / easy level, the trip is suitable for both families with children over 6 years old and experienced rappellers.
Equipment list
An extended equipment list will be sent to each participant after registration. It is recommended not to bring unnecessary equipment, especially not equipment that you don't want to get wet.
- Comfortable and season-appropriate clothing, preferably long.
- High and comfortable closed shoes for hiking.
- 2 liters of water per traveler and food.
Remember, the journey includes water; Bring only essentials to keep things safe.
