The course is intended For rappellers from the age of 15

Gain comprehensive command of rappelling, from building anchors to troubleshooting, and acquire all the techniques and tools you need to head out on solo or group trips without a professional guide. On the course we'll learn self-rappelling, independent trip planning, troubleshooting on the rope, all the essential knots and building rappel stations. The course also serves as preparation for the Wingate Institute rappelling course.

Course structure and track

Day 1: Shilot Cliff or Beit Oren

  • Safety Getting to know the equipment Getting to know connections and practice building a position Rappelling in self-security Live practice of all the subjects learned that day

Day 2: Modi'in

Safety, practice and test on the first day, the topic of the last rappeller, climbing Proskims / descent, transition from climbing to rappelling, practical practice in the field

Days 3+4: Putting the method into practice

  • Joining two rappelling tours as an assistant guide, with hands-on practice in the field.

Terms of cancellation

Cancellation 5-6 days before the departure of the trip - 50 NIS per participant Cancellation 3-4 days before the departure of the trip - 150 NIS per participant Cancellation 48 hours before the departure of the trip - full cost per participant Please note: payment and registration do not constitute confirmation that the trip is leaving. A trip departs only after there is the required minimum number of participants. If the trip does not take place due to a small number of participants, we will inform you up to 3 days before the departure date of the trip.
