Rappelling in Lower Nahal Tur: Family Fun in the Heart of the Desert
Amid the dramatic landscapes of the Judean Desert lies Nahal Tur, a perfect stream for family adventures. It descends from Tur Shoulder on the desert plateau and flows into the northern Dead Sea, just north of the Darga cliffs. We'll hike the lower part of the stream and rappel down its varied waterfalls, ranging from 5 to 25 meters high, ensuring that every family member, adults and children alike, gets their share of adrenaline. The varied heights are the perfect opportunity for young adventurers to experience the thrill of their first rappel. Along the entire route we'll be surrounded by incredible scenery, with the highlight being the intricate canyon the stream has carved – a pleasant walk through a canyon that reflects the magic of the desert and its unique rock formations.

- Comfortable and season-appropriate clothing, preferably long.
- High and comfortable closed shoes for hiking. 2 liters of water per traveler and food. Remember, the journey includes water; Bring only essentials to keep things safe.
